On Saturday, March 24, 2012, the Green Triangle and Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh hosted another Spring planting for Lexington Road between Top Hill and Cross Hill Roads. Volunteers arrived at 8:30 a.m. and worked to dig holes, plant trees, mulch and weed the area. 165 Sumac trees and 4 replacement American Smoke trees were planted along the hillside. Thanks to all our community volunteers and organization including Cave Hill Cemetery, Lexington Road Preservation, Manual High School Key Club, Olmsted Conservancy and Whitehall House & Gardens.
